The event was held over the weekend of the 12th and 13th June 2010. This competition attracts a wide number of competitors from the northern region and beyond . It caters for juniors through to the professionals and all levels in between. It is a well run event with great facilities for a great day out.
Our local rugby club had another wonderful season in 2009 - 2010. Founded in 1876, Tynedale have appeared in 33 Northumberland Senior Cup Finals, winning the cup on 20 occasions.
The 2010 - 2011 season kicks of at the start of September, we are looking forward to what will hopefully be another successful and enjoyable season.
The club provides rugby for all ages from under 7’s through to veterans. They also have excellent facilities that can be used for a huge variety of events. Without local support not only in the form of sponsorship but by supporting the events and making use of the facilities. and the wonderful volunteers it would not be possible to operate at this high National level.

4th - 6th June 2010 C I Accountancy sponsored the bandstand at the Allendale Fair. This is the 3rd year we have sponsored this event, it's a great cause with the main beneficiary being the Great North Air Ambulance.

CI Accountancy sponsored the Calvert Trust Kielder “Charity Golf Tournament” which took place on Friday 2nd July and was a great success. Thirteen teams turned up to Close House for an eighteen hole round of golf and to raise some much needed funds for Calvert Trust Kielder. Players came off the course after a slightly windy but sunny game of golf and tucked into a two course meal and well deserved drink or two. This year Siemens Energy walked away with The Calvert Cup, coming in second were Apex Radios and a close third were last years winners, Egger. On the day over £1,500 was raised for the trust which will help them to continue their excellent work with disabled children and adults.

The first of hopefully many, Haydon Bridge Beer Festivals was held on a sunny 17th July 2010 at Low Hall Park. The event was the brainchild of the Haydon Hunt Sports Committee and was designed to raise well needed funds for the Hunt, St. Oswalds Hospice, Tynedale Hospice, the Great North Air Ambulance as well as other local organisations and sporting activities.
The festival was a great success with an excellent turnout who had a selection of over 30 ales and ciders to sample, produced by 16 local breweries. Hopefully the festival proved to be a success attracting local, national and international visitors, which will have provided a well needed boost to local businesses.
Falstone Border Shepherd Show is a traditional small country sheep show with a modern twist, classes such as sheepdog trials, hounds and the industrial tent run alongside the human dog agility event and for the first time the show welcomed pony sports with great success. The sun shone all day which meant that there was a good turn out at the 124th Falstone Show, C I Accountancy are pleased to be able to support this show through the sponsorship of numerous classes in the industrial tent as well as the human dog trials which saw local folk blindfolded and put through their paces jumping over cones and crawling under their “masters” legs!
