The event was held over the weekend of the 31st May and 1st June. This competition attracts a wide number of competitors from the northern region and beyond . It caters for juniors through to the professionals and all levels in between. It is a well run event with great facilities for a good day out, They even managed sunshine for the Saturday.
Our local rugby club had a wonderful season in 2007-08 which culminated in the first XV being promoted to National League 2.The last game of the season was against Fylde, and the club were privileged to have sporting legend, Bill Beaumont to present the trophies.
The club provides rugby for all ages from under 7’s through to veterans. They also have excellent facilities that can be used for a huge variety of events. Without local support not only in the form of sponsorship but by supporting the events and making use of the facilities. and the wonderful volunteers it would not be possible to operate at this high National level.

31st May – 1st June 17, 2008 C I Accountancy sponsored the bandstand at the Allendale Fair. Lovely weather on the Saturday made this an impressive event now in its 25th year and continuing to raise money for good causes. We are proud to be associated with this event.

Falstone Border Shepherd Show is a traditional small country sheep show with a modern twist, classes such as sheepdog trials, hounds and the industrial tent run alongside the human dog agility event and for the first time the show welcomed pony sports with great success. The sun shone all day which meant that there was a good turn out at the 124th Falstone Show, C I Accountancy are pleased to be able to support this show through the sponsorship of numerous classes in the industrial tent as well as the human dog trials which saw local folk blindfolded and put through their paces jumping over cones and crawling under their “masters” legs!
We look forward to offering continuing support to Falstone Show over the coming years.
Bellingham Show was a great success following the disappointment last year when the show had to be cancelled at short notice due to the terrible weather. They endeavoured to have something for everyone whether they were competing themselves or cheering others on. Bellingham Heritage centre put on a Vintage Shuttle bus service which was just like something out of Heartbeat! There were the usual traditional events of Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, inter-hunt challenge, fell race and a good turnout in the sheep & hound classes.
